About Us

TORI (Turbine Observation Risk Impact) supports end-to-end BAND reporting workflows by structuring species-level field observations into traceable, reporting-ready outputs.

How TORI fits into BAND reporting

The process typically begins with field data collection, where observations (e.g., survey effort, species presence/absence, activity, and context variables) are recorded using standardized inputs designed to reduce ambiguity and facilitate subsequent aggregation. TORI then organizes these observations at the species level to support repeatable screening and reporting steps, producing a consistent intermediate representation that can be reviewed and validated by domain experts prior to final scoring and consolidation. For reporting delivery, TORI provides export mechanisms aligned with operational requirements: tabular exports (e.g., CSV) for audit, review, and integration into institutional pipelines; and geospatial outputs (e.g., KMZ) intended for GIS workflows, enabling rapid visualization and spatial QA.
